Love Live Christ operates primarily in the Golden Triangle area not exceeding a 15 mile radius for delivery of services. Each program’s services are tailored for specific needs within our communities. We are committed to supporting people encountering challenges that life sometimes presents, regardless of religious or ethnic backgrounds. 

KAT'S KITCHEN

Food Pantry Delivery

Kat’s Kitchen is a food pantry designed to help meet short-term needs by providing one-time emergency food assistance.

Prepacked boxes and bags of staples, plus frozen meat when available, is delivered based on family size and need.

Submitting a Request
To submit a request, click the Kat's Kitchen Request Assistance button. Fill out the form and send. 

Love Live Christ will then attempt to contact you for a brief interview. During the interview, the staff will verify identity, need and family size. Most request are fulfilled within 24-48 hours of the interview.    
  • ELIGIBILITY

    Home-bound adults and senior citizens in the Golden Triangle area may qualify for food from Kat’s Kitchen, regardless of ability to pay. To receive food, you must:


    1. Be over the age of 18

    2. Be home-bound* or temporarily unable to meet basic nutritional needs**

    3. Have no other reliable means of obtaining food

    4. Reside in our service area (Columbus, MS and/or surrounding Golden Triangle area within 20 miles of Columbus, MS)


    *Definition of “home-bound”: Unable to leave the home without considerable difficulty and/or assistance.


    **Definition of “unable to meet basic nutritional needs”: Unable to obtain/have difficulty obtaining necessary food for survival.


    Other household members who may be eligible:

    1. Minor children for whom you provide primary care

    2. Parent(s) for whom you provide primary care

    3. A spouse who is unable to obtain food themselves

WILL'S WAY

Senior Support & Ride Sharing

Will’s Way is a program for assisting seniors with transportation and general support. This includes transportation for medical appointments, personal service appointments, grocery shopping, and social engagements (up to 15 miles). We recognize the importance of maintaining a sense of independence and a healthy connection to the community.

Submitting a Request
To submit a request click the Will's Way Request Assistance button Fill out the form and send. Love Live Christ then will contact the family or individual for a brief interview. During the interview, the staff will verify identity and needs. Please have your destination, address, time of appointment and return time available.

All trips must be scheduled at least five business days in advance. A trip can be scheduled up to two weeks in advance.

Cancellations
To cancel click the cancellation button in this section or call and leave a message as soon as possible. Messages can be left 24 hours a day. 
  • ELIGIBILITY

    Senior citizens and adults legally, or physically unable to drive in the Golden Triangle area may qualify for assistance from Will’s Way regardless of ability to pay. To receive assistance, you must:


    1. Be over the age of 18

    2. Be permanently or temporarily unable to transport yourself*

    3. Have no other reliable means of transportation

    4. Reside in our service area (Columbus, MS and/or surrounding Golden Triangle area within 15 miles of Columbus, MS)


    *Definition of “unable to transport yourself”: Unable to safely operate a motor vehicle, or without means to obtain necessary transportation.

OPEN CLOSET

Clothing On Demand

Open Closet provides free clothing for those experiencing unexpected hardship. The program distributes used and new clothing to disadvantaged individuals, at no cost. The one-time emergency assistance provided through this program is determined on a case by case basis.

To submit a request fill out the form on this page. Love Live Christ then will contact the family or individual for a brief interview. During the interview, the staff will verify identity and needs.
  • ELIGIBILITY

    Adults in the Golden Triangle area may qualify for clothing from Open Closet, regardless of ability to pay. To receive clothing, you must:


    1. Be over the age of 18

    2. Be temporarily unable to meet your basic clothing needs

    3. Have no other reliable means of obtaining clothing

    4. Currently residing in a local shelter

    5. Recently lost your employment

    6. Dealing with a life altering event*

    7. Reside in our service area (Columbus, MS and/or surrounding Golden Triangle area within 20 miles of Columbus, MS)


    *Definition of “life altering event”: New employment, child, or death. Suffering from a catastrophe i.e. fire, flood, tornado.


    Other household members who may be eligible:

    1. Minor children for whom you provide primary care

    2. Parent(s) for whom you provide primary care

    3. A spouse who is unable to obtain clothing themselves
